The Lost Boys of Bucks County recounts the tragic events of the summer of 2017 when four young men in Pennsylvania went missing that culminated in a tragic discovery at Solebury Farm.

The Lost Boys of Bucks County is a two-hour documentary that will be airing on the ID Channel this Monday. It is a compelling recounting of the summer of 2017 when four young men in Pennsylvania went missing.

For those who are unfamiliar with that area of the Keystone state, Bucks County is known for being a pocket of rather affluent suburban communities of Philadelphia. This case was like nothing anyone had experienced before including law enforcement.

On July 5, Jimi Patrick, a 19-year-old from Newtown Township went missing. His grandparents, Sharon and Rich were frantic. An earnest student attending Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a business major on a full scholarship. So, when he didn’t return home after an evening out with friends, Sharon became concerned and reached out to her grandson.

Repeated calls and text messages went unanswered so finally, the Patricks filed a missing persons report. What they didn’t know is that two days later, in nearby Middletown Township, another 19-year-old had also vanished without a trace.

Dean Finocchiaro was known to law enforcement for various reasons but he had recently started getting back on track with a job as a cook at Richman’s Ice Cream Company in Levittown. He also disappeared into thin air after telling his parents Bonnie and Anthony that he was going to meet up with a friend.

After several days of no contact, the Finocchiaros alerted law enforcement. New police officer, Megan Freer was assigned to the case and would become one of the predominant investigators.

Unfortunately, two other young men would have the same fate befall them as Jimi Patrick and Dean Finocchiaro. Best friends Mark Sturgis and Thomas Meo left their respective residences never to be seen again.

When it looks as if there are no answers or potential leads, Freer and other local officers along with FBI agents start connecting with one another to share information.

Through the maze of these seemingly disparate cases, law enforcement finds a common thread between the missing boys. Cosmo DiNardo is a name that keeps on surfacing as a potential person of interest while the investigating team pieces together clues.

As the detectives hone in on him as a suspect, they find that he is nowhere to be found and his parents appear to be covering for him. Is he the key to finding The Lost Boys of Bucks County?

For fans of the ID Channel and true crime stories, this is a compelling documentary from start to finish. You get two sides of the investigation from Megan Greer and the other supporting officers and detectives to the grieving families who want to assist them anyway they can in their search for their loved ones.

Audiences will find themselves drawn into the mystery surrounding this unfortunate chain of events. They get to know the victims through the eyes of their families making this a deeply personal and affecting journey to justice.
