Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as Brisco County, Jr. in an upcoming live table reading of the very first episode of the series!

Bruce Campbell played an April Fool’s prank on his loyal followers by teasing a Brisco County, Jr. reunion. Little did everyone know that it would actually come to fruition.

Today on Twitter, the actor announced an unprecedented event. The cast of the beloved steampunk cult favorite will be back in the saddle once again for one night.

In conjunction with the WGA Foundation and House Seats Live, Campbell and company will reprise their roles and fans can get in on the action. What a welcome surprise to brighten up these difficult times.

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. is a show that provides the actor with one of his staunchest fan bases. Invariably, every con appearance Q & A will feature a question about the show coming back on Netflix. Bruce has even stated publicly that he wouldn’t mind revisiting the series.

Perhaps, this table read might reignite interest and could lead to bigger and better things. In addition to Campbell, Kelly Rutherford, Christian Clemenson, showrunner Carlton Cuse and special guest Baron Vaughn will be on hand with the possibility of more talent coming on board.

We could definitely use a hero right now and Brisco County, Jr. fits that bill. It will be great to see Bruce Campbell be the beloved bounty hunter again even for one night.
