Terror TV wants you! If you are an up and coming creative with a passion for making movies, the premiere channel for horror films is accepting submissions for Brief Encounters: The Terror TV Short Film Festival.

Terror TV is a growing channel that specializes in short horror films. This is a unique effort created by Darrin Ramage who is the CEO of the network as well as Acort International, a leading distributor and presenter of indie movies in the genre.

If you aspire to be the next Sam Raimi or James Wan, you may be interested in submitting your work for consideration to Brief Encounters: The Terror TV Short Film Festival. What a perfect opportunity for creatives that are wanting exposure and a platform to showcase their works.

To qualify, you need to submit a film that is 5 to 30 minutes in length to the following Film Freeway link. The festival will review all productions until Oct. 1.

Winners will be announced on the befitting date of Halloween. There will be a virtual celebration online that will be followed by a live event in 2021.

This is perfect for artists that want to take the next step in their filmmaking careers. Here are some of the opportunities that will be offered to those Terror TV winning entries:

  • Negotiation of a distribution contract
  • Visibility on the television channel
  • Interview and promotional opportunities
  • Certificates for Best Film, Director, Technical (Animation or Special FX), Cinematography, Acting and Screenplay (plus other categories)

There are also more perks for those that win the festival. Terror TV has ties to Phantasm Con, they have their own store located here, plus, they have a genre based news service which happens to be their Blog, and are connected to numerous podcasts across the United States. So, as you can see, merchandising opportunities as well as promotional exist if you become affiliated with the channel.
