Maggie goes to his room with him, and he tells her she has two options to avoid seizures. She can hurt herself, or she can hurt someone else. He burns her arm with a cigarette, then asks her to consult the tiles with a question.

She warns him he may not like the outcome, but he insists, so she asks if John will achieve immortality. The answer is no.

This doesn’t make him happy, he huffs off into the other room, and she takes the hourglass out of his pocket. When he returns, he tells her that Charlie Manx has unlocked the secret to immortality. He snatches the hourglass out of her purse, grabs her by the throat, demanding answers, and she tells him Vic is alive.

Maggie sneers at him and tells him he’s nothing but a failed errand boy for Manx, and a big fight ensues. She ends up stabbing him, then stomping on his hourglass. GO, MAGGIE!

Vic and Linda have a nice mother-daughter moment, with Linda finally believing her and agreeing to let Lou, Vic and Chris work on the bike in her kitchen. It doesn’t look good, the Triumph is in about a zillion pieces, but Lou tells her he can fix it so she can find Wayne. She’s worried though, what if he isn’t the same?

It’s a legit concern, as Wayne tells Manx he doesn’t feel good. Manx tells him to sleep, as he pulls into a junk yard and gets out of the car.

Wayne spits a tooth and some blood into his hand, then notices a butterfly outside. The Wraith’s window rolls down on its own, letting the butterfly in, and Wayne pulls its wings off.

Later, Manx is sleeping in the Wraith, wakes up, and asks Wayne if he needs to “use the water closet.” He gets out of the car, and suddenly good old Bing is there with his gas canister.

He gasses Manx and drags him off, while Wayne watches. Crispy Craig appears again and tells Wayne to call Vic again. He does, and when she answers, he tells her to come quick, he killed a butterfly and he’s scared. The call drops.

NOS4A2 is bringing on the girl power this season. Vic almost took Manx down earlier, and Maggie was the star of this episode. I really loved how she manipulated the Hourglass man (and beat the s*** out of him). Can’t wait to see what happens next week!
