Ozzy Osbourne a.k.a “The Prince of Darkness” will be the subject of an upcoming documentary on A & E. The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne will debut on the network on Sept. 7.

Ozzy Osbourne is a rock icon. The man has had a legendary music career spanning decades. Not only that but he has also made his mark in television appearing alongside his family in several reality programs.

Given the moniker, “The Prince of Darkness,” he is known for some outlandish behavior on stage such as biting the heads off bats and other crazy stunts. A supreme showman, he knows what his fans want and he is more than willing to give it to them.

Now, his life has been captured in a new A & E Biography documentary, The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne. This production will cover the front man’s life from his impoverished upbringing, his time in jail all the way to his days with Black Sabbath, his solo career and beyond.

Of course, we will get to hear from his children, Jack and Kelly, who recount what it was like growing up with a dad who couldn’t cope with living a “normal” life. His wife, Sharon will share some personal insights as well about their world. Also being interviewed are some of Ozzy’s high-profile friends like record producer, Rick Rubin, Ice-T, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Jonathan Davis and Post Malone.

Since turning 71, Ozzy Osbourne has had quite a bit to reflect on. The viewing audience will witness never-seen-before interviews detailing his thoughts on his recent Parkinson’s diagnosis. Nine Lives will offer fans the chance to get up close and personal with the original Goth rocker.
