The Last Drive-In Summer Sleepover: Grab your pajamas!

Bust out your best pajamas and join Joe Bob, Darcy and a special guest panel for The Last Drive-In Summer Sleepover.
When Shudder announced that The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs would be back for a third season, it seemed so far off, didn’t it? But Shudder made things better by also announcing that there would be a handful of specials to look forward to between now and then, and the first special is coming up this Friday.
It’s expected that the remaining specials will be presented for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. During the first and second seasons, specials included the Halloween Hootenanny, Dinners of Death and Red Christmas.
The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs Summer Sleepover will begin streaming on Shudder Friday, August 14 at 9:00 p.m., and the guest list was just announced on Twitter. Appearing with Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl will be Adam Green, Kane Hodder, Felissa Rose, Brian Quinn and Tiffany Shepis. The roster of special guests practically gives away one of the movies in the double feature, and Joe Bob gave a hint for the other.
The hint for the first film was “A Roger Corman excuse to wear pajamas”, and the second film “can be deduced by googling the guest list.” Most fans are guessing that the first feature will be the 1982 cult favorite Slumber Party Massacre, which Corman produced (uncredited).

Each of the announced guests were involved in Victor Crowley, the fourth entry in the Hatchet franchise. Adam Green was the writer/director, Kane Hodder played the monstrous Crowley, and Felissa Rose, Brian Quinn and Tiffany Shepis appeared as Crowley’s victims.
Rose is a recurring guest on The Last Drive-In, often being called on the phone as the series’ “resident mangled d*** expert.” She, Hodder and Shepis also hosted horror podcast Casualty Friday until recently, so if they all appear together, we know there will be some great chemistry at work.
