NOS4A2 (S02 E09) recap: Welcome to Christmasland

NOS4A2 season two is in its final two episodes, and in Welcome to Christmasland, we learned more about the evil Charlie Manx and his daughter Millie.
NOS4A2 opened with Manx and Wayne driving into Christmasland, where Wayne is introduced to Manx’s children. Manx isn’t happy that Millie isn’t there.
Still, he takes Wayne to a costume shop and lets him pick out a space outfit. Wayne looks at his space-themed pajama top and says his Mom gave them to him.
In response, Manx gives him a pretty rad astronaut helmet and a pair of giant scissors. But first Wayne has to sign the guest book. Furthermore, he has to use the last name Manx, same as the other children.
Back in the real world, Vic is ready to find Wayne, and Lou’s worried for her; he doesn’t want her to go alone, but she says he needs to stay, because Wayne is going to need his father. She tells him that he is the best man she’s ever known, and this feels like goodbye for good. Vic encounters Maggie on her way out, and Maggie wants to join her so they can blow up Christmasland with Chris’s explosives.
Manx finds Millie in Christmasland, and tries to give her a guilt trip. Didn’t he bring her friends and make her happy? She breaks the news to him: she wants to leave. She knows she had another home in the real world, and she even found the house, which surprises Manx.
When they get to the house, Manx is shocked to see Cassie, but she tells him she’s always been there. He tries to get Millie to leave with him, but she won’t go without Momma.
