Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience is a joint effort between Secret Cinema and Netflix where you can get immersed in scenes from the series in the comfort of your own vehicle.
While COVID-19 has put the kibosh on haunted houses and interactivity beyond your computer screens, Secret Cinema and Netflix are bringing a Stranger Things immersive experience to Los Angeles.
According to Deadline, this is a new format Secret Cinema has designed for the pandemic era. Adapting to the new norm of social distancing, this will be a way for fans of the series to get together safely and watch scenes from the show in the comfort and safety of their own vehicles.
The company is known for its interactive events that allow you to step into your favorite films and TV series. Last year, Secret Cinema hosted a successful Stranger Things event in the UK and they made their first international presentation in China.
This should be a perfect fit for the States. Since this is their first venture across the pond, excitement is mounting. It’s great to see entertainment companies thinking outside the box when it comes to the safety of their fans.
Attendees will be plunged into the world of Stranger Things, with scenes from the hit Netflix series played out around their cars. Tickets go on sale soon and you can join the wait list on the Secret Cinemas website.

The immersive entertainment company has also partnered with Disney, to create interactive presentations based on the studio’s properties. Hopefully, Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience, will inspire other events, perhaps a drive-in haunted house?
When will fans be able to see Stranger Things Season 4? More than likely, sometime in 2021. Stay tuned…
