Snake the Funko Pop is coming to New York City Comic Con

Funko reveals the Escape From New York Snake Pop is coming soon to this year’s New York City Comic Con and we couldn’t be more excited to get our hands on it.

The president has been captured, New York City is a penal colony, and only one man can rescue the leader of these United States-Ok maybe one vinyl man. The virtual New York City Comic Con always has some awesome reveals but perhaps the most exciting, at least for us Escape From New York fans, is the upcoming unveiling of the new Snake Funko Pop!

Funko are the creators of the cutest fandom collectibles and this pint size Snake should fit perfectly on any collectors’ shelf.

Come to think of it, we thought he was taller… Presumably, you’ll be able to purchase this little guy between Oct. 8-11 when the virtual Comic Con goes live.

NYCC is one of the many conventions to go all digital this year in order to help fans continue to connect with their favorite franchises during the pandemic. John Carpenter’s film was a cult masterpiece and fans will definitely gobble up any new merchandise from the horror classic.

Escape From New York, directed by John Carpenter has waited forever it seems to have its own exclusive Pop figure. Snake, as fans will remember, was the tough as nails anti-hero who was played famously by Kurt Russell.

Its great to see that the excitement is still there for the iconic flick. After Funko posted the reveal on their Twitter page, fans took to the comments to voice their enthusiasm.

The action hero has had its share of toys, merch, and even figurines in the past, but never this cute. While no pricing info or even how to obtain this beautiful Pop has been revealed, lets hope we all might be able to purchase it soon.
