The CW renewed its anthology genre series, Two Sentence Horror Stories for a third season, ahead of its second season premiere.

Two Sentence Horror Stories (which was created by Vera Miao) became a fast hit for the CW when it premiered in Oct. 2017 as a short form digital series. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the concept, the show revolves around half hour stand alone horror episodes, each ending with a twist.

The second season would have premiered this fall but COVID-19 delayed production. Unfortunately, viewers won’t be able to see the show until 2021.

Season one offered something truly unique for fans of horror television. So, we are anticipating that the upcoming second season will be just as awesome.

Now, followers of the series can rejoice because according to Deadlinethe CW just announced that a third season has been ordered. This really doesn’t come as a surprise because in the past, we have seen the network favor the dark side with shows like the popular culture behemoth, SupernaturalRiverdale and The Originals.

However, Two Sentence Horror Stories is the first anthology program for the network and hopefully, it will remain on the schedule for a long time.

In the case of this particular anthology series, each episode features a take on a different horror sub-genre. Often the storylines deal with a variety of different social perspectives.

This atypical approach to the subject matter sets the show apart from the usual dramatic fare that is seen on television these days. Each half hour dives into fears and cultural issues that we all can relate to, especially in today’s society.

So, if you were holding off on checking out Two Sentence Horror Stories, be sure to give it a try. You’ll thank us later when you do.
