Dead Meat recently dropped their kill count list for 3 From Hell. Watch as they slice into the film with their signature quick wit and spot on analysis.

We all had a fun time with the Firefly trilogy right? Well, maybe not all of us since Rob Zombie is frustratingly known for his repeat filmography these days.

This writer is a fan but is totally open to fun criticism. Enter Dead Meat James, with his biting critique of Zombie’s latest film, 3 From Hell. An enjoyable but tired close to the saga of the Firefly family.

Dead Meat shared my exact feelings on this production. While I still enjoy Rob Zombie’s movies, they seem to be stuck in the same soup that birthed Devils Rejects.

So, it was no surprise that 3 From Hell turned out to be a rehash of what we’ve already seen from the filmmaker. Dead Meat does a great job of pointing out that the main problem with this film is that it feels way too much like a remake.

Zombie hits every high point of his 2005 film and even ruins the ending. In the process, throwing away one of the best scenes set to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” ever captured on the big screen.

But hey! Plenty of bad a*** slow-mo shots, if you like that sort of thing.

However, as Dead Meat points out, the cast is exceptional. In fact, the director gets amazing performances out of his actors.

Bill Moseley, of course, brings his A-Game. As of this writing, its been a year since we lost the amazing thespian, Sid Haig and 3 From Hell suffers from it. But it still packs the fun and gore, albeit CGI, of a great Rob Zombie film.
