Ghost Adventures is ready for Halloween on Travel Channel with their horror filled investigation at Joe Exotic Zoo.

Ghost Adventures featuring Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley have something very special planned for their fans this Halloween on Travel Channel. The crew heads to Joe Exotic Zoo to do an in-depth investigation on the alleged haunted grounds.

We were fortunate enough to view the special prior to it airing on the network. If you are into the paranormal and looking for a chilling and drama-filled show for the holiday, this is the one.

If you haven’t seen the Netflix or Discovery Channel specials, then here is a little run down on “The Tiger King.” Joseph Maldonado-Passage is a colorful character who ran a Wildlife Park known as the G.W. Zoo in Oklahoma.

Known for his flamboyant mullet, clothing and his 2016 ill-fated Presidential campaign, he became a household name after his documentary captured national attention. Maldonado-Passage’s high-profile feud with fellow Big Cat enthusiast, Carole Baskin made headlines particularly after a botched contract kill situation was thwarted.

He is currently serving jail time for numerous animal rights infractions. All of which has caused his former Zoo to be handed over from current owner, Jeff Lowe to Ms. Baskin herself.

You may be wondering, why is Zak Bagans and Ghost Adventures investigating a place where nothing demonic is occurring? Well, according to park employees and interim owner Lowe, there is a dark force and ghosts that plague the area.

One apparition that is extremely active is believed to be Travis Maldonado. Joe Exotic’s husband who met his untimely demise performing an ill-advised gun trick.

Bagans and his team are focused on finding out if he does roam the park. They are also intrigued by tales of bodies buried in what is known as the “Back 40” of the property where the alligators are kept.

While performing their investigation, several unsettling things occur that will lead viewers to believe that the grounds are haunted. At the risk of not giving away any spoilers, suffice it to say, cadaver dogs “hit” on the scent of human remains, the authorities were called in and there might be an even bigger issue to confront in Joe Exotic’s former house besides the ghost of his late husband.
