Bruce Campbell seems to be everywhere these days. Apparently, his performance in Evil Dead 2 inspired a huge Impact Wrestling event last night.

Bruce Campbell is one busy guy during this pandemic. If he isn’t doing Zoom events like Last Fan Standing or Q & A’s with Ted Raimi for Wizard World, he is working on Evil Dead Rise and his personal projects.

It seems like he is everywhere. After four decades in the entertainment industry, his influence as a performer has been exerted in some interesting and unexpected areas.

Last night on Impact Wrestling, the big event that every fan was looking forward to, occurred. John E. Bravo finally wed Rosemary. Surrounded by their friends, foes and freaks, the two recited their own vows and made everything permanent.

However, before they could share their first kiss as husband and wife, tragedy struck and Bravo was shot. This treacherous act prompted Tommy Dreamer to cry out in anguish, “NOOOOOO!”

Of course, anyone that is a regular viewer of wrestling knows that segments are scripted. After all, it is television.

According to 411 Mania, RD Evans wrote the nuptials scene. The former WWE writer admitted that Tommy Dreamer’s reaction to Bravo being shot is an homage to Bruce Campbell and his last scene in Evil Dead 2.

Some fans thought that Dreamer’s exclamation was actually referencing a Star Wars moment. However, when you look at the videos below, you can definitely see the wrestler was channeling Ash Williams.

You can tune into Impact Wrestling next Tuesday on AXS TV at 8 p.m. Bruce Campbell will be hosting Last Fan Standing for Wizard World Virtual Experiences on Nov. 12.
