Dreamcatcher interview w/ Niki Koss & Zachary Gordan. The first thing you think when you’ve finished watching the new flick, is, what the hell did I just watch? But, in a good way. I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with the delightful Niki Koss, and Zachary Gordan.

You definitely know Zach, as the lead in the Diary of A Wimpy Kid movies, and Niki from your favorite zombie comedy, A Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. Where I lowkey fell in love with Logan Miller. No shame. None.

The opening of this movie is pretty much every actor’s worst nightmare. The publicist gets it. As actors, we want to be portrayed in media as wholesome, and good. Or for more of us going the adult route, down to earth and easy to get along with. So offing your publicist? Not the brightest idea. Just who is this masked DJ dude?

And more importantly, why is Ivy (ELIZABETH POSEY) the only one who royally kicks said villain’s ass? And can we just sing a PRAISE for having not ONE animal death? Please and thank you!

KATIE HARDEN: WHAT EXACTLY WAS THE ACTUAL STORY BETWEEN PIERCE AND IVY?

NIKI KOSS:

Yeah, so it’s a convoluted history. I remember when I was coming up with the backstory. And just trying to–when I first read the script a couple (sic) times, and I didn’t understand Pierce at all. The first couple of times I read it, which made me want to play her. Um, and, so I read it a couple more, and then I took all my notes down, and like, all–I–just wrote a plethora of questions down and then I sat down with Jacob (DIRECTOR) the director and asked him question after question after question. He was like, whoa!
