13. Katherine Heigl in The Bride of Chucky

Character played: Jade

You know her for all her rom-coms, and you certainly know her for Grey’s Anatomy. Did you know that Katherine Heigl was also in The Bride of Chucky? It’s okay; a lot of people have forgotten about this role.

Jennifer Tilly is definitely the name you will remember from the movie. She voiced Tiffany, Chucky’s bride. However, Heigl took on the role of Jade, and she is an important character in the movie. After killing Tiffany and putting her soul into a doll, Chucky reveals the plan is to put his and her souls into two humans: Tiffany’s neighbors, Jesse and Jade.

And so starts the mission to kill Jesse and Jade and place their own souls into the victims’ bodies.

The Chucky movies certainly got a little wild and over the top, but there’s no denying that Chucky and Tiffany’s love was forever. They were willing to kill to be together forever. It didn’t end the way they wanted, but it did lead to the birth of a baby doll. The saga wasn’t over.

However, Heigl didn’t appear in any of the other movies. Nor is she a big horror movie star. She has mostly stuck to rom-coms and action comedies.
