12. Matt Bomer in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

I promised The Texas Chainsaw Massacre wouldn’t be the only movie of the franchise to make it to the list. In 2006, we got a prequel story to the series. And with it being a prequel, you should probably guess how it all turns out. However, it gives you a little hope at a few points.

There are a few actors you’ll forget about in the movie. One of the biggest names you’ll forget about is Matt Bomer. Yes, that’s two actors from The Sinner in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Fortunately, the movies didn’t tank their careers.

There is a scene that stands out in my head from this movie. Funnily enough, it is one with Bomer in it. And yet, I still didn’t make the connection until doing research for this article! In my defense, it’s been since 2006 that I watched the movie!

That scene in question is when Bomer’s character Eric is strapped to a table and he can’t feel his arms any more thanks to Leatherface’s actions.

The movie isn’t great. It’s pretty trope-y and you can guess how the majority of it is going to play out. It can be worth it to spot actors you completely forgot about in horror movies.
