25. Kerr Smith in My Bloody Valentine 3D

Year of release: 2009

Character played: Axel Palmer

There may be a few actors that you forgot were in this My Bloody Valentine remake. Hey, you may have even forgotten that Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles was in the lead role. However, Smith is likely the biggest name you forgot about.

You know that Kerr Smith has had some excellent roles in the past. Don’t knock the first Final Destination and he certainly became a household name in Dawson’s Creek.

You shouldn’t really forget about Smith’s Axel. After all, he’s the one that you start to suspect as The Miner throughout the movie. There’s always something off, and then Tom leads you to believing that Axel is the one up to something. Since when is the lead character the antagonist in horror movies?

This is one of those movies where he even makes it to the end, unlike Final Destination. So, why do you forgot about him? I do think the movie is more to blame for this one, especially if you went to see it in theaters. It was when 3D was a gimmick, when people would literally duck to “avoid” the items being “thrown” at them.

Watch it again and you’ll wonder how you ever missed Kerr Smith. Well, how you could possibly forget about him.
