24. Danielle Panabaker in Friday the 13th

Year of release: 2009

Character played: Jenna

There have been a few versions of Friday the 13th. You’re forgiven if you forgot about the 2009 attempt to reboot the franchise. It starred Jared Padalecki as a man looking for his sister who had gone missing around Camp Crystal Lake.

There are chances that outside of the Supernatural actor starring in it, you may have forgotten all about this story. After all, you just can’t beat the original movie or the original story. The twist at the end of that 1970s story was just perfect for the genre.

While you’ve forgotten about the reboot, you’ll have also forgotten all about Danielle Panabaker starring in it. Yes, this is the same Panabaker that currently slays as Killer Frost on The Flash.

Panabaker plays Jenna, the lead female in the movie. Of course, she’s the one that you’re waiting to hook up with the Padalecki’s Clay Miller even though she’s actually there with her boyfriend Trent. She’s also the one you’re expecting to be the Final Girl.

Does she make it to the end? I’m going to let you watch the Friday the 13th reboot again just so you can remember everything that happened. Honestly, what is it with remaking classic horror movies with such bad storylines?
