18. Mischa Barton in The Sixth Sense

How can you possibly forget Mischa Barton was in The Sixth Sense? Well, actually, you’ll be forgiven for this. Barton was a young girl at the time and it was way before she made a name for herself on The O.C..

Kyra Collins is the young ghost girl that Cole sees throwing up. She hides under the table sending messages to Cole to help her father figure out the truth about her death. There’s the video tape showing Kyra’s mother poisoning and killing her. The most important thing is that Kyra saves her younger sister from the same fate.

Barton’s character doesn’t say anything in the movie. Most of the ghosts don’t. And the focus is on Cole so much as he learns to figure out his gift and how to use it that we tend to forget the other faces in the movie. The only real exception is Bruce Willis as we try to figure out what his twist in the movie is.

I guarantee that the next time you watch The Sixth Sense, you’ll immediately notice Barton when she pops up on the screen. You’ll never forget about her in the movie again.
