Most terrifying horror movies you shouldn’t watch alone

When it comes to horror movies, not every film is made the same. In fact, there are some that are so terrifying, spooky, or downright psychologically thrilling, that you may not want to watch them alone.

There are some horror movies that just make you jump, while others leave you afraid to close your eyes for hours (if not days) later. If you are anything like us, you want to be scared and you want to get your heart racing as you watch something so terrifying or thrilling that it is best to have someone along for the ride with you. (In fact, most of the movies on this list were only watched because I was with a friend who loves horror movies as much as I do.)

While there are some horror movies that just don’t live up to the hype, there are others that will stick with you for a long time to come. And for us, these 30 horror movies are so good and so scary that you won’t want to watch them by yourself.

From Paranormal Activity and The Strangers to The Haunting of Deborah Logan and The Conjuring, these are some of the best and scariest horror movies ever. And whether it is psychological or downright spooky, each of these movies delivers something that will leave you wishing you had never decided to watch this horror alone.
