American Horror Story S10: New photos appear to show who Evan Peters is playing

Images allegedly leaked from behind-the-scenes shooting of American Horror Story Season 10 might show who Evan Peters is playing!
CBR linked a photo from an American Horror Story Instagram focusing on all the details from the upcoming tenth season, which is called Double Feature. In that photograph, it appears to show a blurry Peters walking across set dressed in his signature green-and-black striped shirt with a pair of jeans, which is exactly what his character Tate Langdon wore in the first season, American Horror Story: Murder House.
Based on that image and some rumors swirling about the season as a whole, it looks like fans can anticipate the return of Tate –– and maybe Violet, too? The romance between Tate and Violet, while highly dysfunctional, has always been popular with fans.
This wouldn’t be the first time Peters reprised his role as Tate either, as we saw him appear as the character again in the show’s eighth season, Apocalypse.
Another video linked by the fan account appeared to show the original murder house and the caption alleged that Peters was inside filming as Tate.
American Horror Story Season 10: Do we need Tate back again?
I’m sure some fans will be ecstatic to see Tate back but I’m not sure I’m interested in his storyline. I never thought Tate was an appealing character to begin with, his storyline always felt far too real with our current society. Do we need another misunderstood white male shooter on television?
I’m done with Tate, we’ve seen his story play out already, what more can the writers possibly do with him that they haven’t done already? I’d much rather see Peters return as a brand new character, or at least reprise a character we haven’t seen much of already!
It’ll be interesting to see what the plan is for Double Feature, but I just hope it’s not a whole season of Murder House again. It’s time to move on!
