Demi Lovato is trying to find out if the truth is really out there in an upcoming four-part limited unscripted series called Unidentified with Demi Lovato at Peacock TV where the songstress will investigate UFO reports, 1428 Elm has learned.

Not only will Lovato star in the program but she will also executive produce. In Unidentified with Demi Lovato, the singer will accompany her skeptical best friend Matthew and her sister Dallas to start investigating certain UFO phenomena. Along the way, they will also consult with leading UFO experts and do some investigations into firsthand experiences from eyewitnesses.

Lovato, Dallas and Matthew also plan to uncover “secret government reports” and conduct experiments in known UFO hot spots. Who knows what they’ll turn up!

Unidentified with Demi Lovato promises to be an immersive experience

And this isn’t just some random offshoot for a bored celebrity, Lovato is a genuine believer in the paranormal and alien. She hopes by going on this new adventure, she can convince people around the world that there are beings “beyond Earth” and that they might already be here, living among us.

It sounds similar to something that actress Megan Fox did a few years back with the Travel Channel. In Legends of the Lost with Megan Fox, the star went digging into ancient cultures and history, something she claimed to have always been fascinated by, even when she was younger.

There is no word yet on when this new unscripted series will debut, but Lovato intends to do her research by contacting many people who have had alleged contacts with aliens, including those saying they have been abducted, scientists and more. This immersive docuseries will be told through her “uniquely audacious and entertaining filter.”

I’m not opposed to more alien content but I wonder if Lovato can honestly uncover anything that has already been discussed ad nauseam in other programs. I guess we’ll find out!
