We’ve got some good news for fans of the Silence of the Lambs television spin-off, Clarice, focusing on the titular heroine originated by Jodie Foster. Clarice Starling will be back, but Clarice Season 2 won’t be airing linearly on CBS for its sophomore run.

Clarice is a relatively new psychological horror crime drama based on the best-selling novel by Thomas Harris. It stars Rebecca Breeds as the leading lady and focuses on a time after Silence of the Lambs took place.

Since the film’s events, Clarice has been placed on administrative leave and ordered to undergo federally mandated therapy following the traumatic ordeal. However, her work has made her a viable resource and she’s soon recruited to join a new VICAP task force when it is believed that another serial killer might be at work.

Where can you watch Clarice Season 2?

According to a new report from Deadline, Clarice Season 2 is going to move to the CBS streaming service, Paramount+ alongside CBS’s other series, SEAL Team. Both series are considered “bubble” shows so while some fans might be frustrated that they have to get the streaming service to keep watching, it’s better than cancellation!

The outlet noted that the deals are still being finalized, but for now it looks like Clarice is going to stream exclusively on Paramount+. SEAL Team is going to air a few episodes on the network before migrating to the streaming service. I’m guessing it’s a little different for the David Boreanaz-starrer because it’s been running for a few seasons now, whereas Clarice is a newcomer.

It seems to be a new trend for networks to move some of their less popular shows to their streaming services. NBC did something similar with A.P. Bio, which was canceled and then revived for Peacock, Younger moved from TV Land to Paramount+ and Search Party from TBS to HBO Max.
