How to watch Cruel Summer Season 1, Episode 6 tonight

A brand new episode of Cruel Summer airs tonight on Freeform. You can watch Cruel Summer Season 1, Episode 6, “An Ocean Inside Me” at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on the network after a showing of Mulan. The episode is rated TV-14 and runs for an hour.

The previous episode of Cruel Summer focused on the Skylin County Fair in 1993, 1994 and 1995. In 1993, Jeanette went on a date while Martin continued grooming Kate. In 1994, a desperate Jeanette attended the fair for the sole purpose of finding Kate and setting things straight between them.

Then in 1995, Kate was the one looking for Jeanette at the fair, but Jeanette skipped it to hang out with Angela, one of the few people on her side.

It doesn’t look like Freeform released any sneak peeks for the upcoming episode this week, but they did release a trailer that teases what’s to come. This week is going to focus specifically on Cindy Turner’s quest to find out whether her daughter is lying.

What’s happening in Cruel Summer Season 1, Episode 6?

As you can see from the trailer above, this week’s episode is going to focus on Cindy Turner and her struggle to understand what Jeanette is going through. Cindy is almost an audience proxy as she tries to figure out if Jeanette is lying or not.

According to the official synopsis, this episode will also focus on Jeanette’s case in 1995. A new deposition could potentially threaten the progress she and her lawyer have made so far.
