A Quiet Place 2 is the highly-anticipated follow-up to the 2018 film A Quiet Place. Both movies are directed and written by John Krasinski, who also starred in the first film and returns for a small part in the second.

Krasinski’s wife and co-star Emily Blunt returned as Evelyn Abbott in this movie as she tries to keep herself and her three children (including her newborn) alive under increasingly dire circumstances. The new film also introduces us to Emmett, an old family friend played by Cillian Murphy, who ends up becoming an integral part of this new film.

Now that the movie is out in theaters and generating so much critical acclaim, many people are headed to theaters to watch it. But for those who are hesitant to go out with COVID still around, waiting for their vaccinations, or just prefer watching movies at home, you might be curious when the film will start streaming!

When will A Quiet Place 2 be available to watch on Paramount+?

During the height of the pandemic, Paramount Pictures announced a new plan to limit their theatrical releases to 45-day windows before their movies go to their streaming service, Paramount+. That means A Quiet Place 2 will only be in theaters for a little over a month before it moves to the service.

While Paramount hasn’t announced an official date for the movie to start streaming, based on the 45-day window, we can estimate that the film will head to Paramount+ sometime in mid-July.

Will A Quiet Place 2 stream on Netflix?

Most likely, A Quiet Place 2 is not going to stream on Netflix anytime in the near future. Because Paramount has their own streaming service now, it wouldn’t make sense for them to sell the rights to their films to a competing service.

However, there is a possibility that after the movie has been available on Paramount+ for a while, they might allow other services to pick it up. There have been many cases before where films and television shows stream in more than one place at once.
