Evil Season 2, Paramount+ June 20

After two years, Evil is finally returning to our screens this weekend and it joins the ranks of other horror on streaming projects as CBS has opted to move the show to its streaming service Paramount+.

The new season sees the return of Kristen Bouchard, priest-in-training David Acosta and skeptic Ben as they seek to explain the many unexplained mysteries in the church’s backlog. But of course, after the insanity of the Season 1 finale, the second season also promises to go off in some surprising new directions.

Censor on VOD

Now available to watch on VOD or digital rental services, Censor is a new British horror film that dives into the culture surrounding famous “video nasties.” The film follows a young woman who finds a link between a disturbing horror film and her sister’s disappearance.

Untraceable on Starz June 18

Starring Diane Lane, Colin Hanks and Billy Burke, Untraceable is a surprisingly nasty and underrated horror film from 2008 following an elite division of the FBI dedicated to fighting cybercrime. A new sadistic killer who enjoys posting live feeds of his crimes on his website appears. The more hits his website gets, the faster his victims die. Special Agent Jennifer Marsh (Lane) and her team must find the killer before time runs out.

Black Summer Season 2 on Netflix

Black Summer Season 2 released yesterday on Netflix and it remains the best zombie show that you’re not watching! This season the show moves into the snowy, icy winter months as the cast we met in the first season returns to fight for their lives against the zombie apocalypse.

Other horror on streaming this weekend:

  • Phobias on Hulu
  • Along Came a Spider on Starz
