After over two years, Evil Season 2 is finally back tomorrow in its new home at Paramount+. Since the gap between seasons is quite extensive, we compiled a quick refresher for those who need a reminder on what happened when we last left off with the characters (and demons) of Evil.

In the finale, several horrific revelations occurred that might shed light on what “the sixty’s” plot is, those weird three stars David has been seeing in his visions, and how far Kristen is willing to go to protect her family.

Evil Season 2 reminder: RSM Fertility

One of the biggest reveals from the finale was RSM Fertility, a clinic that uses an Euler Triangle as its primary symbol, which connects to David’s visions. They also have clinics in Chicago, Washington D.C., and New York, all of which fit with those three stars. Even more, that evil kid Eric from Season 1, Episode 4 came from an in-vitro birth at this clinic, as did the Farrells (the “possessed” woman Bridget who had a miscarriage).

David and Ben theorize that the demons, or psychopaths, are using the fertility clinic to create more psychopaths from birth. It ties back to Matthew 13, about how God created fields of wheat “but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.” He later has a vision of Kristen walking in a field of wheat with Satan walking toward her.

Even more shocking is the reveal that Kristen herself used RSM Fertility to have an in vitro birth, that’s how Lexus was born. Does that mean Lexus could be a budding psychopath?

Evil Season 2 reminder: Did Kristen kill Orson LeRoux?

With Orson’s overturned conviction, the serial killer is on the loose again and wastes no time harassing and stalking Kristen. Knowing that he poses a threat to her and her family, it is heavily implied that Kristen bludgeons him to death. Mira calls her later to tell her that Orson was murdered and they don’t know who did it. Then in the final moments of the Season 1 finale, Evil tries to hold a rosary and it burns her hand.

Evil Season 2 reminder: What is Leland’s endgame?

In the Season 1 finale, Leland proposes marriage to Sheryl. Sheryl has also been feeding Leland information and even gets him copies of the Vatican codex with all those demon seals. Surely, it’s not a good thing that Leland now has that in his possession.

Sheryl and Kristen remain firmly on the outs since she’s entrenched in Leland’s snare. I just want to shake her and tell her to open her eyes and listen to her daughter! Let’s hope in Season 2 Sheryl finally comes to her senses regarding her fiancé.
