False Positive & more horror streaming this weekend, June 25-27

Hulu is where it’s at for new horror available on streaming this weekend as two movies, False Positive and Safer at Home will hit the service on Friday and Sunday, respectively. Beyond that, there aren’t many new options coming out from June 25 to 27.

A few horror movies arrived on various streaming services this week, including An American Haunting on Hulu and The Seventh Day on Netflix, so if you haven’t gotten the chance to watch either of those and you’re interested, they’re streaming right now! Plus, Shudder Original Film An Unquiet Grave also premiered this week.

And don’t forget that a brand new episode of Evil Season 2 airs this Sunday on Paramount+!

Horror coming to streaming this weekend, June 25-27

False Positive on Hulu

False Positive is the latest A24 flick and what looks to be a genuinely creepy, campy horror flick. Starring Ilana Glazer, Justin Theroux, Pierce Brosnan, and Sophia Bush, False Positive focuses on couple Lucy (Glazer) and Adrian (Theroux).

They’ve been struggling to get pregnant but believe their dreams might finally be coming true when they meet the charming Dr. Hindle (Brosnan). Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long for Lucy to start realizing there might something really off about her new doctor and she needs to find out the truth before she gives birth.

Safer at Home on Hulu, June 27

If you’re not burnt out on TV episodes and movies based during the pandemic, you might be intrigued by the premise of Safer at Home, which becomes available on Hulu this Sunday, June 27. The movie is set in 2022, where the pandemic has turned Los Angeles into a police state. A group of friends decides to party online via Zoom, but things quickly spiral out of control.

What new horror hits Shudder from June 25-27?

There aren’t any new additions coming to Shudder this weekend, but the horror streaming service has already stocked its already-impressive catalog with plenty of films to get your summer started off right.
