It’s a great month for horror all around as July kicks off with the beginning of a tremendous summer horror movie event. Fear Street Part 1, the highly anticipated adaptation of R.L. Stine’s popular book series of the same name, premieres on Netflix this weekend (you can watch the first five minutes right now!).

The best part about the impending trilogy is that the movies will debut just one week apart, so there are three Fear Street movies in total to look forward to across the month! Fear Street Part 1: 1994 debuts tomorrow, July 2, exclusively on Netflix.

Fear Street takes place in the fictional town of Shadyside and follows a group of teenagers that must contend with dark forces invading their town. Each film in the trilogy takes place in a different year, with the first film taking place in the 1990s, the second in the late 1970s, and the third taking us all the way back to the 17th century.

The first movie focuses on meeting a group of teenagers who realize something strange is happening in the small town of Shadyside, Ohio. It stars Kiana Madeira, Olivia Welch, Benjamin Flores Jr., Julia Rehwald, and Fred Hechinger.
