Next week, the highly anticipated American Horror Story spinoff series American Horror Stories will debut on Hulu. Ahead of the premiere, the official Twitter account released a teaser video showcasing an impressive cast assembled for the show’s first season.
The teaser has tapped Danny Trejo, Billie Lourd, Matt Bomer, Gavin Creel, Sierra McCormick, Ashley Martin Carter, Paris Jackson, Kaia Gerber, Naomi Grossman, Virginia Gardner, John Carroll Lynch, Aaron Tveit, Rhenzy Feliz, Madison Bailey, and Kyle Red Silverstein to star.
Fans of Ryan Murphy’s long-running horror anthology will likely recognize some of these names as several of these actors have appeared in previous seasons of American Horror Story, but the majority are newcomers.
According to the status, that already-massive list “isn’t even the half of it,” meaning there might be more surprising stars popping up throughout the season.
The new American Horror Stories cast list joins the previously announced actors
The anthology series will contain 16 standalone episodes that will dive into various lore, horror myths, and legends, many of which will feature American Horror Story stars you’re already familiar with across the show’s nine seasons. The latest cast list joins the previously announced cast which includes Kevin McHale, Charles Melton, Dyllón Burnside, and Nico Greetham.
While we know some of the cast for the show’s first season, details are still being kept to a minimum regarding what the episodes will actually be about. The series is returning to Murder House and appears to be introducing a “Rubber Woman” character based on the infamous Rubber Man. The Rubber Woman has appeared in most of the promotional material for the spinoff show.
