Fear Street Part 3: 1666 release date, cast, synopsis, trailer and more
By Mads Lennon
It all comes down to the final act in the Fear Street trilogy. This Friday, July 16, Fear Street Part 3: 1666 explores the origins of the Sarah Fier curse that has haunted Shadyside for centuries. As history comes full circle, the lives of Shadysiders will be forever changed.
After the carnage in 1994 Shadyside from the first film and the bloodshed at Camp Nightwing in 1978, everything comes to a head in the third part, which focuses on what really happened to Sarah Fier all those years ago.
We should also get a conclusion to the 1994 storyline. Will Deena be able to rescue Sam? What’s going on with C. “Ziggy” Berman and her many alarm clocks + the weird call she made to Sheriff Nick Goode at the end of the previous film? There are a lot of questions we still need to be answered! You won’t want to miss the new film so keep reading to get all the details you’ll need to watch.
Plus, Netflix released a brand new official trailer for the film which you can watch right here:

We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that Netflix decides to make more films or series in the Fear Street universe.
Fear Street Part 3: 1666 cast & synopsis
The third film in the trilogy will see the return of many actors we’ve already met in the previous two films as they take on new roles in 1666. For instance, Kiana Madeira returns as Deena and will also portray Sarah Fier in the flashbacks to 1666, while Olivia Scott Welch, who plays Sam, will play a character named Hannah Miller.
It’s a nice way to bring back some of the characters who died in previous films, too, like Fred Hechinger (Simon from the first film) and Julia Rehwald (Kate from the first film).
"In 1666, a colony is gripped by a hysterical witch-hunt that has deadly consequences for centuries to come. Meanwhile, the teenagers in 1994 and 1978 try to finally put an end to the town’s curse, before it is too late."
