Evil Season 2, Episode 5, “Z is for Zombies,” premieres tonight on Paramount+! For fans of the show, you won’t want to miss out on a single moment of this thrilling horror series, especially since we only have a few episodes left before Evil takes a summer hiatus before returning with new episodes.

In the previous episode of Evil Season 2, David dealt with racism within the Catholic church head-on when problems arose over his homily. David eventually delivered his unedited homily on race. Still, it was implied that Father Kay might have done something to prevent the congregation from being more than just a handful of people.

Elsewhere, Ben and Kristen did most investigative work this week as they tried to get to the bottom of a teenage boy’s disappearance. It all tied back to the mysterious Elevator Game (a real phenomenon, by the way). When playing the game, the player must orchestrate a series of precise traveling from floor to floor within the elevator with the end goal of getting to another realm, or Hell. Ben found himself in a terrifying predicament by the end, although lucky Kristen and David could rescue him.

What is Evil Season 2, Episode 5 about?

This week’s episode focuses on Father Mulvehill, one of the priests who has been helping Leland in his supposed “exorcism” journey. He asks the team for a confidential evaluation after fearing he might be succumbing to diabolical oppression. Could Leland have something to do with his fear?

Photos for the episode suggest that Kristen’s daughter Lila is going camping with one of her friends, and it looks like she might experience something scary outside. “Z is for Zombies” is written by Patricia Ione Lloyd and directed by Nelson McCormick.
