The first two episodes of the American Horror Story spinoff series American Horror Stories debuted its first two episodes last week through FX on Hulu. Are you wondering when and how you can watch the third episode this week? Keep reading for all the details you’ll need to watch the newest episode as soon as it becomes available.

Spoiler warning: There are some spoilers ahead for the first two episodes of the show.

In parts one and two of the series premiere, we returned to Murder House, the original house considered to be the flagship of the horror anthology series. However, instead of bringing back the Rubber Man, we met a Rubber Woman.

Personally, I’m eager to see what this spinoff has to offer that’s new to the franchise rather than revisiting storylines and locations we’ve already seen multiple times in the parent series.

What is American Horror Stories Episode 3 about?

Per the official synopsis, Episode 3 is about:

"A screening of a forbidden film has disastrous consequences."

Since the season is cloaked in mystery, the episode summaries we’re getting are very short and vague to preserve the mystery of each installment. I’m looking forward to this episode as I love “drive-in” theaters and they seem like the perfect setting for creepy stuff to happen.

The plot reminds me a little of the 2014 film The Town that Dreaded Sundown, a meta-sequel where the town residents watch a screening of the original film based on the true story of the Phantom Killer.

The idea of watching a “forbidden film” was terrible consequences also sounds similar to the plot of The Ring, so there is a lot of room for the show to play with this storyline.

Who stars in American Horror Stories Episode 3?

One of the main appeals of watching any American Horror Story episode is to see who stars in it. “The Drive In” stars John Carroll Lynch, Madison Bailey, Catherine Adellas, Rhenzy Felizas, Amy Grabowas, Naomi Grossman, Ben J. Pierce, and Kyle Red Silverstein.
