Chapelwaite: Watch the terrifying new red band trailer
By Mads Lennon
We’re excited to present our readers with the special red band trailer debut for Chapelwaite, the highly-anticipated new series from EPIX based on Stephen King’s short story Jerusalem’s Lot. The upcoming series, which officially premieres on August 22, 2021, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, stars Academy Award-winner Adrien Brody and Emily Hampshire.
Set in the 1850s, Chapelwaite follows the Boone family as they relocate to the seemingly sleepy small town of Preacher’s Corner after their mother dies. Captain Charles Boone (Brody) has just laid his wife to rest at sea and is hoping to start over somewhere fresh with his children.
They return to the old Chapelwaite manor, Boone’s ancestral home, and soon must confront the darkness and secrets that have plagued the Boone family for generations. EPIX previously released a trailer for the show but if you’re interested in seeing more of the grisly images and dark horror content, then you’ll want to watch the terrifying new red band trailer!

While Brody plays Boone, Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek, 12 Monkeys) portrays Rebecca Morgan, an ambitious young woman who is fascinated by the Boone’s and their family legacy.
After leaving Preacher’s Corners to attend college, she returns home with an advance from the prestigious Atlantic Magazine to write a story. She chooses the Boones as the object of her inspiration and takes a job as a governess at the manor against her mother’s wishes.
Brody serves as an executive producer on the series alongside Donald De Line, Jason Filardi, Peter Filardi and Burr Steers. Chapelwaite is produced by EPIX Studios.
