Who is the greatest American Horror Story villain?

With nine seasons under its belt, American Horror Story has given more than a hundred episodes of horror and suspense, as well as some epic villains. But who are the greatest villains in American Horror Story history? Well, that might be up for debate.

From Twisty the Clown to Margaret Booth (yes, she has to have a spot on this list, whether you like AHS: 1984 or not), there have been some fascinating villains in the American Horror Story arsenal. And while some might falter in execution, others deliver in downright shocking ways.

Whether it is their twisted plans that make them a villain, their connections to the devil, or even just the fact that they are downright evil, there are a number of reasons why these American Horror Story villains deserve a place on this list of the greats.
