14. Richard Ramirez American Horror Story: 1984

In AHS: 1984 we met a real-life serial killer, and one we have met in the American Horror Story universe before. As far as villains go, Richard Ramirez is one in real life and in the AHS universe.

Here we have a murderer who is stalking people and who kills for fun. But really, that’s not the only thing that he does. He is also possessed by the devil himself. And really that is pretty awful.

In 1984, we see him murder someone as a gift. He stalks a girl from the city to a camp. He is ruthless in his killing. And basically, he is just the worst.

Perhaps the thing that makes Richard Ramirez so awful is that he seems to take true pleasure in being a killer. And the fact that he does not discriminate in his killing certainly doesn’t help.

Even when we meet him in AHS: Hotel, it is clear that Ramirez is a psychopath in the truest sense of the word. He has no shame or remorse and that is why he is so dangerous. But perhaps the reason that he is not higher on this list is the fact that he was never truly the main antagonist of the story (in either of the seasons he appears in).

Richard Ramirez is a villain in life and in AHS. There is just no way around that.
