5. Tate Langdon American Horror Story: Murder House

Tate Langdon might look innocent, but he is far from that. In fact, he is one of the first villains to grace our screens in the American Horror Story franchise.

Tate is a mass murderer, but not just any murderer, he is a school shooter. He massacred people in his own school. He was killed on the grounds of the Murder House and that is how he can remain a vital character in the very first season.

And you would think that being a school shooter would be enough to villainize Tate Langdon, but in the Murder House he continues to be less than a good spirit/person. Instead, he rapes his girlfriend’s (that is a whole different conversation) mother while wearing a rubber suit, and actually gets her pregnant.

In fact, the fact that he is a father is what sets off a series of events that leads to the Apocalypse. Because of course, Tate Langdon is the father of none other than Michael Langdon, the man who is at the heart of the Apocalypse. (Michael gets his own slide because he is also very much a villain.)

While we feel for Tate with his mother being Constance Langdon and we know how she was, and for his being bullied in school, we cannot find it in us to feel sympathy for someone who brutally rapes and murders people with no hint of shame or remorse.
