American Horror Story: 25 of the greatest AHS villains of all-time
2. James March American Horror Story: Hotel
Welcome to the Hotel Cortez. This is a place where monsters roam, love dies, and it’s hard to escape these walls. So of course, that is exactly where we meet James March.
March is many things, including the original owner of the Hotel Cortez. But it is not his business acumen that we care about. It is his villainy.
James Patrick March is a murderer. He ruthlessly and sadistically killed people in his hotel before his death. And after his death is no different. But perhaps it is his work as a puppet master that makes him truly evil.
Since he can no longer leave the Hotel to find victims, he must use other people to do his dirty work. He is the man behind John Lowe’s Ten Commandments Killer. But he is also the man of the hour for what the Hotel calls Devil’s Night – a night when some of the evilest killers in history get together for a dinner that includes murder.
There is no remorse from March over his actions and it solidifies the idea that this is a man (or ghost) who can not be redeemed. He was a villain who reveled in his misdeeds and he was a menacing figure no matter where he appeared in the Hotel Cortez.
