1. Michael Langdon American Horror Story: Apocalypse

I will admit that this was a hard one. Picking the number one villain of American Horror Story is no easy task. And yet, every time I thought about who would be at the top of this list, there was no way it could be anyone other than Michael Langdon.

The son of Tate Langdon and grandson of Constance Langdon, Michael Langdon is essentially the anti-Christ. He is the product of ghost Tate raping Vivien in Murder House. And he is evil.

Michael is demonic and without remorse. And while there are apparently a few people he actually cares about, including his grandmother (who is in no way innocent), he does not care about anyone else. In fact, that is what makes him a villain – his inability to care about anyone and that inability leading to the destruction of the world.

As the anti-Christ, he is the reason for the apocalypse and he kills billions of people without even a hint of remorse. He is truly evil and it makes sense since his birth is evil. The fact that murder is just one of his sins makes it all the more compelling to have him in the top spot of villains.

And while many people have pointed to the Devil as being a villain in American Horror Story, we never actually meet the Devil. But we do meet his most compelling servant – Michael Langdon.

There have been many bad people throughout the episodes and seasons of American Horror Story, and yet the true villains are the ones who commit awful crimes against their fellow man without a hint of remorse (and even the villains who do seem contrite on this list do not seem to actually care about the victims themselves).
