What happens when a video archivist finds a strange, disturbing clip potentially the product of a mysterious broadcast signal hacking? In Broadcast Signal Intrusion, Harry Shum Jr. stars as James, the archivist in question, who becomes obsessed with tracking down the source of the clip and similar broadcast intrusions.
His obsessive mission leads him on an obsessive mission. Forced to confront that the videos might be clues to an unthinkable crime, James becomes uncomfortably aware that the person behind these videos could be aware that James is inching closer to the dark truth at the heart of it all.
The upcoming film is inspired by a real story. In the late 1980s, there were actual broadcast interruptions in Chicago that remain unsolved. This Queensbury Pictures movie tapes into all of our most terrifying technological nightmares.

You won’t have to wait too much longer to watch. The film is scheduled for release in theaters and on digital platforms just in time for Halloween on October 22.

Apart from Shum Jr., the cast also features Kelley Mack from The Walking Dead, and This Is Us star Chris Sullivan, Jennifer Jelsema, Arif Yampolsky, Justin Welborn, Michael B. Woods, and Steve Pringle. Shum Jr. also serves as an executive producer on the project. Jacob Gentry directs a screenplay written by Phil Drinkwater and Tim Woodall.
