Cowboy Bebop premiere date, synopsis, cast, first-look photos, and more

Good news for fans of the popular sci-fi anime Cowboy Bebop. Earlier today, Netflix announced the official release date for Cowboy Bebop Netflix, the upcoming live-action adaption starring John Cho. In addition to the release date, Netflix also releases several first-look images featuring Cho, Mustafa Shakir, and Daniella Pineda.
Cho, Shakir, and Pineda star as the main trio of Cowboy Bebop, playing the characters of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, and Faye Valentine. The crew comprises intergalactic bounty hunters who are trying to put distance between their past as they venture forth to find their next job.

Fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the show to premiere. The show’s first season, which is based on the iconic and acclaimed ’90s anime series, will drop on November 19 exclusively on the streaming service.

Apart from the main trio, the cast also includes Geoff Stults and Tamara Tunie. Per TVLine, Stults will play Jet Black’s former co-detective, and Tune is set to portray Ana, a local convenience store owner and an important informant. Also, Yoko Kanno, the original composer of the anime’s score, is returning to do the live-action version.

"COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them."
