A spooky new seance film is upon us! Seance (2021) will make its exclusive debut on Shudder this September, 1428 Elm has learned. Shudder, the premium streaming service for horror, thrillers, and the supernatural will become the exclusive home to Seance starting very soon!

As a Shudder exclusive, the platform will be the only subscription service to carry the film in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. If you’re eager to watch the movie, you will need to get a Shudder subscription!

What is Seance about?

From the official Shudder release, the Seance synopsis is as follows:

"In SEANCE, Camille Meadows is the new girl at the prestigious Edelvine Academy for Girls. Soon after her arrival, six girls invite her to join them in a late night ritual, calling forth the spirit of a dead former student who reportedly haunts their halls. But before morning, one of the girls is dead, leaving the others wondering what they may have awakened."

Simon Barrett, who is behind some of the most revered horror films of the past decade, including You’re Next and The Guest wrote the screenplay and makes his feature directorial debut with Seance, which stars Suki Waterhouse, Madisen Beaty, Ella-Rae Smith, Inanna Sarkis, Seamus Patterson and Marina Stephenson-Kerr.
