American Horror Story: Best performances from 25 key AHS actors
What is Jamie Brewer’s best American Horror Story role?
While we could look to Jamie Brewer’s Adelaide “Addy” Langdon or Marjorie as being great roles, the reality is that as Nan, we got a character who deserves a lot of respect and appreciation.
When we first meet Nan, she is basically underestimated by the other girls in the coven. She is definitely what one might consider an underdog, but the reality is that she is so much more than one might expect.
Nan has a gift that actually draws the attention and appreciation of none other than the Supreme, Fiona Goode. And that is because Nan can actually get into other people’s minds. While she is often shown to be a mediator, when it comes to her gift it can really be rather ominous.
On top of her ability to get into someone’s mind, she also has clairvoyance, and at times, her ability to see things will lead her in interesting directions. She can sometimes show signs of being without remorse when it comes to her anger at being dismissed by others. And she won’t let the other witches of her coven look down on her, which makes sense since her gifts are rather impressive.
And by the end of Coven, we learn that her gifts have grown and she even has telekinesis as a gift. Basically, she is a badass and we are here for that. She can handle herself and she does with ease.
