What is Cheyenne Jackson’s best American Horror Story role?
In American Horror Story: Hotel, we meet Cheyenne Jackson’s Will Drake. Drake is a fashion designer who decides that they need to purchase the Hotel Cortez for inspiration, and of course because he believes that he and the Countess have a thing happening. And I mean, technically they do.
The thing about being the new owner of the Hotel Cortez is the fact that he has no clue about the real truth around this hotel and its residents (both human, non-human, and ghostly). And while it doesn’t seem like he will ever learn all the truths about this haunted place, it is amazing what happens at this particular hotel.
While he presented himself as gay originally, he is actually bisexual and is afraid of the biphobia in the world that might cause problems in his life, career, and even for his son. After he is killed in the hotel and becomes one of the many ghosts haunting the place, he gets involved with murders within the walls of the hotel.
However, when the killings are halted, he finds himself aimless and without purpose until he is reminded that he is a fashion designer and even in death, he can create beauty and do something to make a mark on the world. And that is exactly what he does. He makes art and transforms his death into one of purpose.
