What is Billie Lourd’s best American Horror Story role?

We love our new horror queen, Billie Lourd (RIP Scream Queens). And in American Horror Story: 1984, we get a rather fascinating character in Montana Duke.

While she seems like a decent person who just wants to have a fun summer with friends, making some extra money and getting out of the city for a bit, the reality is far from simple. It turns out that her brother was murdered and she blames her fellow camp counselor, Brooke. And because of that, she is setting the other woman up.

Not only does she set a known killer on Brooke, but she is also willing to sacrifice other people as well. Basically, she wants vengeance and it doesn’t matter who gets hurt in the process.

Honestly, Montana is a very interesting character and she is brought to life brilliantly by Billie Lourd. She is a character who goes from being less than good to wanting to redeem herself. Of course, her redemption arc seems to come after she has already been dead for a while so there is that.

So, yes, she is a ghost of the camp by the very end of the season, and that just adds to the whole appeal of this character. She went from vengeance to dead to doing her part to protect a killer’s son. It’s a whole thing and it just works.
