What is Cody Fern’s best American Horror Story role?

Our second actor who has an asterisk by his name is Cody Fern. While Michael Langdon made a massive impact on the series, technically, Fern has only been in two seasons of American Horror Story so far. However, he was a part of the spinoff series, American Horror Stories, so it felt like we could also make an exception for him.

As Michael Langdon, Cody Fern delivered more than a villain, he delivered a perfect representation of the anti-Christ. He seems to have little emotion when it comes to the evil he is perpetrating unless it is a sense of satisfaction for causing destruction.

On the one hand, we get to see more of Michael’s past and how he was raised, which makes us feel like perhaps his path was shaped more by nurture than nature. And yet, it is clear that no amount of parental love was going to save this situation. We could hope, but not likely.

When it comes to villains, it is hard to top an anti-Christ, and that’s what and who Michael Langdon is. And thanks to Cody Fern we not only believe it, but we can see how this person could be considered truly evil.

Now, we can only hope that Michael Langdon pops up again, even if it is just as a video game character (wink, wink).
