Last week Chapelwaite made its premiere on EPIX. The series, which is based on the Stephen King short story Jerusalem’s Lot, is a prequel to Salem’s Lot set in the 1800s. We were introduced to the Boone family, including Charles and his three children Loa, Honor, and Tane.

After laying their mother to rest at sea, Charles moves his children to his ancestral home in small-town Maine where they are quickly greeted with hostility by the prejudiced and superstitious townsfolk.
