13. The Madness Inside Me

Merrin Dungey stars as a forensic psychiatrist who becomes obsessed with stalking criminals after her husband is killed during a home invasion. Instead of identifying her husband’s killer, she hunts him down for revenge, igniting a twisted sense of arousal inside of her. Has the crime turned her into this twisted person? Or has the darkness always lurked in her shadow?

12. Burial Ground Massacre

Michael Madsen’s latest horror film Burial Ground Massacre is an upcoming indie production slated for release this weekend. Surprisingly, Horror News Network reports that a sequel to the film has already been shot and is scheduled for a 2022 release.

Burial Ground Massacre revolves around your classic horror plot: a group of college students spend the night at a creepy old mansion and find themselves caught in the web of a vicious stalker after an Indigenous artifact inside the house.

11. We Need to Do Something

American Horror Stories actress Sierra McCormick stars in this IFC Midnight film about a family trapped after seeking shelter from a storm. At least, that’s what it initially appears to be about, but as the film continues, we quickly realize that they’re hiding from something much more insidious lurking outside the walls and staying inside might be the safer option.
