From the mind of Mike Flanagan, the same man who brought us Oculus, The Haunting, and Doctor Sleep, comes a brand new original horror series titled Midnight Mass. Yesterday, Flanagan unveiled the official trailer for his upcoming Netflix series, and fans have gone crazy over it.
The isolated Crockett Island is in for a reckoning when a disgraced young man (Zach Gilford) and a charismatic priest (Hamish Linklater) arrive. The priest’s presence on the island seems to spark unexplained miracles, but is it possible that these miracles come at a price?
Fans of The Haunting will be pleased that some of the returning players are starring in this new series, including Flanagan’s wife and long-time collaborator Kate Siegel and The Haunting of Bly Manor star Rahul Kohli.
The seven-episode limited series also stars Rahul Abburi, Crystal Balint, Matt Biedel, Alex Essoe, Annarah Cymone, Annabeth Gish, Kristin Lehman, Robert Longstreet, Igby Rigney, Samantha Sloyan, Henry Thomas, and Michael Trucco. The series is executive produced by Flanagan and Trevor Macy for Intrepid Pictures.
Netflix also released an awesome new poster yesterday alongside the trailer!
