Amazon has released the first official teaser for the upcoming teen horror series I Know What You Did Last Summer, set to release next month exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. What is the show about? The upcoming series is a modern take on the 1997 horror film of the same name. The movie itself was based on a 1973 novel by Lois Duncan. Since then, the movie has found its legacy in horror history with the original movie and two follow-up films.

This new version of the story is a modernized version that honors the same premise. Sara Goodman writes and executive produces along with executive producers Shay Hatten, Original Film’s Neal Moritz and Pavun Shetty and Atomic Monster’s James Wan, Rob Hackett and Michael Clear. Craig Macneill directs and executive produces the first episode.

I Know What You Did Last Summer release date

The series will be released in time for Halloween! On October 15, 2021, you’ll be able to watch the first four episodes of the show. After that, individual episodes will release on Fridays until the finale on November 12.
